For sale is a Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. CMP Field Grade (RM1Field) (30-06) M1 Garand manufactured in the 1950’s (roughly 189,000 manufactured in this group) around the Korean Conflict (1950-1953); serial number is 4689690. The barrel is an H&R A barrel manufactured in November 1953. Most M1 Garands are rebarreled/overhauled due to corrosive ammunition used in combat and general field wear and tear to be brought back into usable service. This barrel may very well be original to the receiver but cannot be verified. The stock (furniture) appears to be original. We include with your order 5 additional M1 en bloc clips and an M1 butt-plate rifle cleaning kit. This Harrington & Richardson Arms M1 Garand is in good condition and has (1) Proof mark, (2) DOD acceptance mark and (1) rifle rack number (see photos).
